Why do we need so many new laws and curbs on our freedom?

I agree. We have the same problem here in the U.S. nothing but new laws all the time. It has become burdensome.There should be a new law that says that for any lew law they p they have to take 2 old ones off the books. Eventually they will get to a core of absolutely necessary ones they cannot do without. Then we can fire all the lawmakers and save a ton of money by not having to pay them anymore.
