MRSA, can you tell me as much as you can of this bacteria?

I need to know as much information of this as possible. Can it be recieved by birth, what are the proper precautions to be taken to stay rid of it, and anything else you can think of to tell. All sources welcome too. Oh, also, a hotline or counselor number for it too.
