Question about lifting weights?

Do both + lift one way for aprox six weeks (i.e., target reps = 12) and then switch it up (i.e., target reps = 6) and do that for aprox 6 weeks. Once your body has succesfully adapted to what you've asked it to do you need to challenge it in a new way if you want to make the best possible progress.
