My Digital Camera Memory Card NOW gives errors AFTER I formatted it with my CASIO Exilim EX-Z75, WHY?

I found after I inserted my 2GB card in a laptop for seeing pictures, it got virus from the programs of the laptop. I haqd to run latest anti-virus Kaspersky before I could reuse it. Check your card and camera also.
