How do Dinosaurs and Adam and Eve fit into place?

It never said in the bible ANYTHING about dinosaurs roaming the earth, and it's said that Adam and Eve were born on the 7th or 8th day the earth was created *I think* and so that would mean the world is only a couple thousand years old... now, Dinosaurs, I'm pretty sure, would of eaten Adam and Eve if they were around at the same time... and there's cavemen and other stuff... what I want to know is, how do these two things fit into place? Billion year old bacteria, billion year old dinosaur bones... no remains of Jesus Christ nor Adam and Eve... someone tell me how these two come in to place, and tell me how science and religion can mix *Not Scientology*
