Do you think more Catholics would have survived if they had been warned to evacuate before the quake?

The JW group was a very small community. There were 242 JWs all who survived the earthquake, while 28000 Catholics also survived the quake. Work out the mathematics and you will see there is a very high probability that all the JWs in such a small group will survive compared to such a large community of Catholics, whose survivers outnumbered the JWs by 116:1 ratio. Also you should take into account the different blocks within the city which were hit hardest, while other blocks had a moderate hit with moderate damage, which may be in the JW sector of the city.
