I recently watched the film "Pirates of Silicon Valley". It seems that I was wrong to think that Apple had..?

...made such technological innovations as the mouse and the pull-down menu. It was Xerox! These were 'borrowed' by both Apple and Microsoft. Was anyone else as surprised as I was to find this out?
