I need help picking guitar songs?

I took a guitar cl a few years back and had to stop when we're just gonna start learning chords. I have had a lot of free time lately and im thinkin bout pickin up the guitar again and tryin to learn how to play actual songs. Are there any easy songs you guys suggest startin with? Id like to learn a few more modern songs as well. Any suggestions would be great
